Terms and responsibility
This is a courtesy translation. The Norwegian version of these terms is the binding one; if the two differ, the Norwegian text applies.
Takstkompass is decision support, not a verdict. As the clinician you remain responsible for the final coding.
The responsibility is yours
Takstkompass is decision support. The service gives an explanation with a source reference, but makes no decision. As the clinician you remain responsible for which codes you claim, and for the claim being correct and documented.
An answer from Takstkompass does not relieve you of responsibility in a Helfo audit, and cannot be invoked as grounds for a claim.
The content may be incomplete
The rule set covers a selection of codes and rules, not all of Normaltariffen. That we find nothing only means our data set says nothing about the combination — it is not a confirmation that it is correct.
Normaltariffen normally changes on 1 July each year. We aim to keep the data set up to date, but give no guarantee that it matches the current tariff at all times.
No official affiliation
Takstkompass is a private service, provided by Naing ENK (Norwegian company number 932 315 610). We are not affiliated with Helsedirektoratet, Helfo or Helsenorge, and have no role in processing your claim.
Using the service
The account is personal. Never enter anything about patients in the search field — no names, no national identity numbers, no clinical notes. The service is not built to receive such information, and free text that is not takst codes is discarded before anything is stored. See the privacy notice.
Subscription and payment
The calculator and the combination check require Takstkompass Basis, which costs NOK 99 per month. New subscribers get a 14-day free trial; after that the card is charged automatically each month until the subscription is cancelled. The trial is given once per account.
You can cancel at any time in the customer portal under “My account”. Access then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and there is no refund for remaining days. The price may change with at least 30 days' notice by e-mail.
Payment is handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We never store card details ourselves. The code set is open without a subscription.
Changes
The terms may be updated. Material changes are announced to the e-mail address registered on your account.
